In 1988, he suffered a car accident, resulting forced to wheelchair.〔 He joined Fidesz in 2005. He was elected to the National Assembly during the parliamentary election in 2006. He was a member of the Committee on Youth, Social, Family, and Housing affairs between May 30, 2006 and May 5, 2014.〔 He also chaired Subcommittee on Equality and Disability between 2007 and 2010.
